HERING AG supplies two exhaust gas heat exchangers for a hotel complex in Jamaica

Two exhaust gas heat exchangers supply hot water to a large hotel on the Caribbean island of Jamaica.
By using waste heat from two 2,5 MW natural gas engines, water is heated up to 95°C, thus supplying the hotel with hot water.
The exhaust gas heat exchangers were manufactured according to ASME standards and meet local requirements. In addition to the exhaust gas heat exchanger, our scope of supply also included a bypass system, insulation for outdoor installation, and the transport to Jamaica. This has been HERING's first project in Jamaica, other locations of the hotel chain are also expected to be equipped with heat recovery systems made by HERING AG in the near future.
