HERING supplied an vertical designed Exhaust gas heat exchanger for a leading glass manufacturer in Amberg, Bavaria. The Exhaust gas heat exchanger is heating up water to more than 130°C and is using it downstream for a ORC process. In addition to the Exhaust gas heat exchanger (high-pressurized hot water generator), the complete safety equipment and the insulation was included in the HERING scope of supply. We are currently working on a similar project for a glass manufacturer in Italy in which waste heat out of glass production is used for the ORC process.
