Tel Hashomer Hospital, a pioneer in sustainable and future-oriented healthcare infrastructure, is setting new standards for energy-efficient healthcare. A key element of its energy concept is a sophisticated combined heat and power (CHP) system for the highly efficient on-site generation of electricity, steam, and hot water. As part of this concept, our 100% customized 2-in-1 plug-and-play steam generator utilizes the exhaust gases from two 4 MW engines to produce up to 3 t/h of process steam, which is used, among other applications, for the sterilization of medical instruments. At the same time, the remaining heat contained in the exhaust gases is recovered for the efficient production of hot water. The complete solution includes the steam generator, feedwater system, economizer, bypass, safety and control equipment, and insulation, with commissioning carried out on site by our experienced team.
