Hering AG received the order to construct and manufacture four heat condensers for a power plant project in Germany in spring 2018. We designed and manufactured the heat condensers entirely in Gunzenhausen. They use the steam after a turbine to feed up to 200 MW of thermal energy into a district heating system and are redundant to make sure there will be no down times. We delivered the four heat exchangers to site in early summer 2018.

The whole project consumed more than 150 km of boiler tubes and needed approximately 14,500 welding seams to fit the tubes. The total weight is approx. 140,000 kg.
