A unique type of exhaust gas heat exchanger (EGHE)

HERING AG designs complete exhaust gas heat exchangers from high-alloyed stainless steel for special hydrochloric acid (HCI) applications.
The EGHE is equipped both on the primary and on the secondary side with a bypass including special pneumatic butterfly valves.
This enables the operator to precisely control the exhaust gas temperature.
The complete system was installed on a specially designed base frame to cope with local conditions.
